Kiana

Senior graduating class of 2026, has me spinning with memories of knowing these teens back when they were babies! Back in my earlier days of being a mom, I was part of a MOPS group- which was a saving grace to motherhood. I don't know if MOPS is a thing anymore, but if you are a mom with a little one, find a group that you like because those mommas will be your biggest cheerleaders in the pre-school stage of life. I do have to say that if it wasn't for our fearless leader, Erin Bonine, I am sure I would have more bruises and scares from then. I just wish there was a teen version of MOPS because I do not remember anyone sharing about this stage - and this stage of life is HARD!!!

Back to the photos though..... The last time I saw Kiana, she was being held in her mommas arms and now, I get to meet Kiana all grown up, beautiful and super talented. When we are planning her senior session, my heart melted in the description of the style she wanted to do. You don't have to ask or tell me twice for that airy - magical feeling. And bonus moments for me was then I got to listen to Kiana play a little on her violin, which instantly just transport you to a world where nothing else matters but the emotions that come from music.

Near the end of her session, she brought out her skateboard that she designed herself. How wonderful it is to have the gift of art - in whatever form it comes in.

And then, in our last few moments of the setting sun, we walked through the trees with the sun spilling through the branches and gently giving that summer glow.

I loved how Kiana wanted to catch a few more moments in the field where those delicate white flowers are just so beautiful to be in.

This session was everything from airy and magical, to cozy and comfortable.

Thank you, Kiana, for giving me the opportunity to document this special moment in your final year of high school. I pray and wish you many blessings and adventures~
