Hesed Treaures

A little sparkle. A little story. A whole lot of heart.

Hesed Treasures is the sparkly side of Jax Creations — where ordinary things get a little extra love, a few (or a few thousand) rhinestones, and a chance to become something worth holding onto.

Some pieces begin with a story. Some with a person I love. And some simply begin because I look at something and think, you know what this needs? Rhinestones.

But tucked somewhere beneath all that sparkle is something a little deeper.

Hesed is a Hebrew word often used to describe steadfast love, kindness and grace — the kind of love that shows up, stays, and gives without needing anything in return. It's a word that has always felt beautifully connected to the way I create.

I believe the smallest things can carry meaning. A tiny act of kindness. A handmade gift. A story remembered. A mustard seed of faith. Or, apparently, a 3mm rhinestone placed in exactly the right spot.

Hesed Treasures is where all of those things get to meet — faith, story, creativity and an unapologetic love of sparkle.

Made by hand. Made with heart.

And never afraid of a little extra shine.

My sparkle started back when I was a teen and my life was all about figure skating and fashion. In high school, I took my passion of those and spent my days and nights learning to design, draft and creating and making a collection of figure skating dresses that sparkled in every direction - all hand sewn.

Fast forward through 20 years - I did not make it as a traveling show skater or even into fashion, but I did create a big family that was much brighter than any rhinestone you could imagine. It wasn't until my youngest found the same passion on the ice in the form of hockey. A history book of my life I thought I had closed when it came to personally skating, busted wide open again and the next thing I knew was I was learning to skate again and all that joy of sparkle and bling followed quickly!

As my collection of rhinestones grew from costumes I created - I started noticing so many other things that would look great with a little bit of bling from hockey pucks, shoes, hats, books, art - my small collection of rhinestone colors morphed into a full office space every every color and size imaginable.

My joy that came from rhinestoning was how beautiful items came to life. Everything had a meaning it to - every sparkle was a piece of my heart. So as silly as it may seem to others, but there is so much behind each stone.

I learned in early in 2026 after our oldest son had complete heart failure and watching him fight for his life - I spent every minute pouring into God and just trying to be in His light and holding onto Him during this time of confusion, worry, love, life and mercy ... and A LOT of time in the hospital with him... I needed something that gave me a moment of quiet. And rhinestoning was the therapy the provided me with time to close off all the thoughts of "what if".

You would laugh if I told you all the things I stuck a rhinestone on during this time, but each item had a complete REAL reason behind it. One of the pieces that brought me joy was creating new name tag clips for all the nurses we grew to know during my son's recovery. It was the smile and genuine thank you that was shown. I was so grateful for all the kindness and care each doctor and nurse gave to us - I needed to do something in my own way to tell them how much I appreciated them. I know that a little rhinestone can not compare to all they gave, but I hope that when they look at it that they are reminded that someone loves them for who they are and what they did for us.

Some of the items

In the ice skating world - no matter if it is figure skating or hockey- bling is in!! You could find me in the bleachers cheering on my little hockey dude, wearing my rhinestoned shoes, hype chain, beanie and sweatshirt. He still smiles when he sees his crazy hockey mom shining and cheering! I have created custom pucks for him and a few of his team mates and there is joy and smiles that are shared when those kids get their own puck that celebrates them.

For the figure skating side, we love a sparkle on anything we can glue it to! I have created water bottles, tissue holders, rink bags, skate guards and more and the squeal we share over it, is better than a centered spin!

Back in 2025, a figure skating drama book was released, The Favorites by Layne Fargo, and my obsession of a good drama and figure skating collided and there was no way I was going to put that book away without giving it a good figure skating bling.... suddenly, I was looking at books in a new light. My library of rhinstoned books have grown along side the misc art that covers my office walls.

My husband kindly smiles and rolls his eyes as I share the items that can be blinged out. He was surprised when I shared that it is not just for us girls. The bling spreads to guys as well. Between sport items such as footballs, soccer balls, hockey sticks (all as display items), there is a calling for boys/mens shoes.

My current favorite item of 2026 is my Taylor Swift, Life Of A Showgirl album. I am a fan of her music and her music videos, but the showgirl part of that album grabbed my heart and passion of all the sparkle that shines under a spotlight. In fact, National Showcase is my favorite competition I strive to be a part of. It is all about character, shine, drama and spotlights. So there was NO WAY I was going to pass up the opportunity to bling out this album. That is a project that I could talk hours about and keep it behind velvet ropes like it belonged in some kind of museum.
